Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a Brisbane born and bred, Mum of four young kids, including Twins. As a family we love fishing, going on holidays to Stradbroke Island and taking our dog, Jazz for walks along the beach near our home.

What is your role at NNA Direct Support Service?

My role at NNA Direct Support Service is Client Engagement Manager in QLD.

How do you see disability support sector changing or evolving in the future?

I have seen a huge swing in the sector over the past few years, particularly in my previous role as an NDIS Support Coordinator. I have had the pleasure of being part of the role out of NDIS here in QLD and have been fortunate enough to see the many positive changes that have and will continue to occur over time. It is an exciting time for NDIS Participants and their families/nominees.

What do you see as the biggest opportunity for the sector?

The NDIS is making improvements to their frameworks all the time and we are seeing people being able to access the community and receive the supports that they need more and more.

What is a little-known fact about Andrea?

I am a pescatarian, which means that I eat animals that live in water, but not on land. I have no idea why... I just can't stomach land animals.
