The NNA Direct Support team is growing! Having recently expanded our Customer Engagement team, we are excited to introduce some new friendly faces.
In the latest installment of Meet the Team, we sat down with one of our new recruits - Andrea. Brisbane-based mum of 4, shares what she loves most about working in the disability sector and some little known facts. A warm welcome to the team, Andrea!

I am a Brisbane born and bred, Mum of four young kids, including Twins. As a family we love fishing, going on holidays to Stradbroke Island and taking our dog, Jazz for walks along the beach near our home.
My role at NNA Direct Support Service is Client Engagement Manager in QLD.
I have seen a huge swing in the sector over the past few years, particularly in my previous role as an NDIS Support Coordinator. I have had the pleasure of being part of the roll out of NDIS here in QLD and have been fortunate enough to see the many positive changes that have and will continue to occur over time. It is an exciting time for NDIS Participants and their families/nominees.
The NDIS is making improvements to their frameworks all the time and we are seeing people being able to access the community and receive the supports that they need more and more.
I am a pescatarian, which means that I eat animals that live in water, but not on land. I have no idea why... I just can't stomach land animals.
Biggest Pet Peeve? Odd socks
Favourite Sport? Rugby League
Favourite Food? Mexican - Taco Tuesday!
I love that I have the opportunity to help make a difference to people's lives in a positive way. I love that I get to meet new people from all walks of life and get to know and understand them and how they live their lives. I love hearing people's stories. Everyone is unique and individual and everyone has a story to tell.
