Employment type
  • Casual Base hourly pay rate of $32-$60 depending on experience and area of specialty.
Duties
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Administer and audit medication and treatments to participants
  • Diabetes management
  • PEG Care
  • Palliative care
  • Continence management
  • Wound care and management
  • Observe for reactions or side effects
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the patient
  • Provide education to participants, families, carers
  • Supervise, coordinate and work in consultation with other health care members
  • Assist with training support workers to ensure quality provision of care and support
  • Monitor, record and report symptoms or changes in patient’s conditions

What you will need
  • Minimum 3 years recent clinical / medical centre / aged care / disability / community / paediatric nursing experience*
  • Work rights in Australia
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current Criminal Record Check (can easily be applied for)
  • Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / Yellow Card (can easily be applied for)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and autonomously
  • Ability to provide a holistic approach to nursing
  • Commitment to quality patient care
